This recipe is taking me back to middle school and I’m totally okay with it. Howeverrrr these nutter butters are a lot healthier than the originals they’re made with just 5 simple ingredients🙌🏻
In a bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla. Then add in almond flour and baking powder. Roll dough into small balls and place two of them side by side on a parchment paper cookie sheet. Use a fork and gently press down on each ball, then in the other direction to make a criss cross pattern. Bake cookies for 10-15 minutes at 350°F or until edges are slightly golden. Once done, let cookies completely cool (about 20 minutes). While cookies are cooling, mix together peanut butter and maple syrup to make the filling. Spread one cookie with filling mixture and press together with a second cookie. Repeat and enjoy!
