SLOW COOKER HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN | Glowing with Gracee
SLOW COOKER HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN
15 mins prepServes 3
This might be the easiest crockpot everrr. Very little prep but still healthy and filling. You can make this in an instant pot/crockpot/slow cooker… just make sure it’s set on HIGH for 4 HOURS.
Add the chicken thighs to your crockpot or Instant Pot (on slow cook mode).
In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, ketchup, red wine vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and salt.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, mix until all chicken is coated. Cover with the lid, make sure the vent is on (if using an Instant Pot), and cook on high for 4 hours.
About 2 hours into cooking, flip chicken thighs and add the sliced yellow onion.
While the chicken finishes, cook 1 cup of white rice according to package instructions.
Once the chicken is done, shred it with two forks on a plate, add chicken back into pot and let it sit for 5 minutes to soak up the juices.
Add a scoop of rice to each dish, top with the shredded chicken and onions, and spoon some of the extra sauce over top. Enjoy!
